As Executive Director of the International Society of Bassists from 1982-1990 he established the ISB International Conventions, ISB Solo Competition, ISB Endowment Fund and ISB Magazine. Mr. Bradetich is the founder of The Bradetich Foundation, which strives to advance and cultivate a prominent international presence for double bassists, and to command high performance standards and opportunities through solo competitions, educational outreach and cross-cultural connections. Bradetich is also co-founder of Music For All To Hear, the first company to record music especially arranged and acoustically prepared for the hard of hearing. His pioneering work in this field has helped to bring music into the lives of thousands of individuals with hearing losses.

Jeffrey David Bradetich (born 1957) is an American professor and performer of double bass. He currently teaches at the University of North Texas College of Music. Bradetich made his New York City debut at the Carnegie Recital Hall (now called Weill Recital Hall) on January 22, 1982. Since then, Bradetich has performed over 400 concerts throughout the world, including the continents of South America, Europe, and Asia.
