Fania Borach (October 29, 1891 – May 29, 1951), known professionally as Fanny Brice or Fannie Brice, was an American illustrated song model, comedienne, singer, theater, and film actress who made many stage, radio, and film appearances and is known as the creator and star of the top-rated radio comedy series The Baby Snooks Show.

In 1944, Fanny Brice & Baby Snooks starred in their own radio show, Post Toasties Time. It was very shortly thereafter renamed The Baby Snooks Show, but was also referred to as Baby Snooks & Daddy; it became a favoured American radio sitcom.

The Baby Snooks Show was an American radio program starring comedian and Ziegfeld Follies alumna Fanny Brice as a mischievous young girl who was 40 years younger than the actress who played her when she first went on the air. The series began on CBS September 17, 1944, airing on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm as Post Toasties Time (for sponsor General Foods). The title soon changed to The Baby Snooks Show, and the series was sometimes called Baby Snooks and Daddy.
Hanley Stafford, "Daddy" was her perfect foil. Snooks got so many spankings that in today's society,Daddy would be arrested for child abuse. However, it was Radio and the scripts were hilarious and part of my childhood.
